Laptop Gift?

I got my gf a a very nice laptop for her birthday present (dec 20) and i’ll give her the bag for it for christmas. now… i got her the black laptop but they have eight colors… (black, blue, brown, green, yellow, pink, red and white) and i got her the red and black bag (belkin messenger case). the have those in black and red, green and white and pink and white. do you think i should change the order and pick other colors for the bag or the laptop? maybe keep the black laptop and order the pink and white bag? maybe both pink? maybe keep the blk and red bag and get the navy blue laptop?? please help!
i forgot, theres also a black and blue bag

red-black and red (OHH THIS WOULD BE SO COOL. haha)

but don’t stress too much, who could complain when they are getting a laptop?

I like your original choices just fine. Definitely keep the laptop, it will show less scratches. I like blue so I might get the black and blue bag if that’s a choice, but black & red is sharp. I think she’ll love them.

I do not know your girlfriends age or yours. If she is a student, you could safely choose whatever colors she enjoys.

If you and she are more mature adults, in the working world; a black laptop is more appropriate and professional looking in the workplace.

Way you may want to do is give her the gifts that you choose, the black laptop and then the red and black bag, and let her decide if she wants to change the bag or not, due to the color combination.

You sound like a wonderful and caring boyfriend. That is a very nice birthday and Christmas gift.

How to decorate a fabric laptop case for my daughter?

I bought my daughter a laptop case for the computer I am going to give her for Christmas. It is a simple plain black bag. I was going to have it monogrammed for her but the shop said they can’t do it because of the material of the bag. Now I don’t have a clue what to do with it but I don’t want to give her just a plain bag. I would like something to match the skin she wanted for the laptop. The skin is silver, black and hot pink.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ask the embroidery shop to make a patch with the monogram. Or, look through what is available at craft stores. Then attach to the case with E6000 glue (found with craft glues).

although you don’t like it plain, hauling the bag around with her anything you put on it could fall off or just get in the way.
E6000 is great glue and make work to hold a patch

i love the 1st and 2nd ones. the 1st one is cute, but the second one with be more functional in my opinion, and theyre both neutrally colored, so thats good. just, whatever u do, dont get the pink one. it looks like a poodle exploded and they thought they would put it on a bag.

You’ll probably want some kind of sleeve or other padding. It looks to me that the tote won’t protect the laptop the way it should be.

Personally, I’m more of a gym back type of girl or something that isn’t bright and colorful. I’m warning you that the bag is slightly childish with the bright pink. But if you like the bright colors, its great. I wouldn’t go with wearing bright colors with a bright pink bag because it might over due the bag. Maybe wearing white with that bag would look more contrasted.

With a faulty fan, and Celeron as well, maybe $ 50 or whatever anyone is willing to pay for it. The problem is, a fan will cost about $ 50-$ 100 for a computer shop to replace it…

$ 50-$ 100. good laptops sell in computer stores for $ 175. that’s with no OS or other stuff. I would highly suggest you provide all the OEM software that came with it. OEM software is licensed to stay with the machine. the drivers and recovery discs *at least* should go with the machine. the recovery discs (if you have any) are usually BIOS locked, which means they won’t work on any other computer anyway.
I don’t mean printer drivers, but anything related to the laptop that came with the laptop.

have you ever bought a used computer and something went wrong with the machine and you didn’t have the recovery discs to fix the machine? costs you $ 300 to get a new OS. ouch.
make recovery discs just to be nice to the person who gets it. there is software on the laptop for this probably.
